THE MAPS MUST FLOW!
I try to stream my cartography every Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday from 1 to 4 pm Eastern.
We are ALMOST done the geomorph redraws! This means I'll be starting a new series of maps next week. But for now, back to the lairs & caves!
And without further ado, it's time to start mapping!
I stream my cartography most Tue / Thu / Sat from 1-4 pm Eastern.
The piece below we worked on last stream. There's a fortress in the sands to draw today, and maybe some work on a hexmap!
Return with me to the Jade Catacombs - a site that offers great treasures, but most adventurers never leave the same... instead they are transformed into twisted jade mockeries of themselves...
This hexagonal tower was pulled directly from the ground by magus Devruel Tenzah. Now questing in the astral with the Githyanki, the magus rarely occupies the tower leaving it to the magical defences and guardians built into the stone.
You've found a strange wand/key wrapped in a scroll and a map to "Dohrlegond's Tombs" - and quick scouting around shows the place is currently under the "management" of Thar Gorecrusher and their band of ogres, orcs, and savage ne'er do wells...

The world's 1.5°C climate goal is slipping out of reach - so now what?
Time to draw the dungeons!
I stream Tue / Thur / Sat from 1-4pm Eastern.
Today we are starting with a small cave map and we'll see where the stream takes us after that.
“The strangest thing about this story isn't that government employees couldn't tell the difference between a work of science fiction and reality, but that they'd only confiscated it opportunistically.” https://www.dicebreaker.com/categories/roleplaying-game/feature/gurps-cyberpunk-rpg-us-secret-service
Tree rings are evidence of the Megadrought—and our doom
Scientists are using dendroclimatology to investigate megadroughts in the western U.S., and the trees are telling a disturbing tale.
I really want someday to GM Caverns of Thracia. As a trans woman game designer illustrator, Jennell Jaquays is the only « great master » or mentor legacy figure who share my craft and identity that I can claim and relate to. She is kind of my Moebius. It would be very meaningful for me to be able to experience her foundational work. Being uprooted and connections with my family, it would feel extra special for me.
One clear no-no with Gamesience dice is to use acetone. You might have guessed that but I was desperate to rehab this old d20. Someone had inked whole sides with nail polish (?) and I couldn’t get it off with my go-to (dry erase board wipes) or anything else short of sanding it offf. Acetone worked but partially melted the surface of the die. Compare the acetone “blurred” die left to the minty fresh one on the right which I got inside an SPI game I bought on eBay.
